DBE Application for Nevada Department of Transportation Civil Rights Contract Compliance Division

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) was looking for ways to streamline the application process for their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. Prior to Zee Designs’ involvement, applicants had to fill out a long, daunting paper form. Zee Designs worked with the NDOT Civil Rights Contract Compliance Division to develop a new, online version of the application that provides an easier, friendlier experience both to applicants and to NDOT staff.

Applicants can get started with as little as a name and email address. The online application guides the applicant from beginning to end, giving them the information they need when they need it. Applicants can save their progress and come back later whenever they wish. The user interface is clean and easy to use. Who would have thought filling out government forms could be so pleasant?

Having businesses apply electronically means NDOT saves on paper and manpower. Tasks which had to be performed manually in the past could now be automated. Data can be easily reported on, queried, or transferred to other systems.
